Dopo la grande attesa per l’arrivo dei costumi del film Marie Antoinette al Museo del Tessuto di Prato, il giorno dell’apertura ci siamo prontamente presentati in biglietteria per curiosare tra gli elaborati costumi di scena realizzati da Milena Canonero per la pellicola firmata Sofia Coppola.
La rivisitazione in chiave moderna della registra Americana, è espressa perfettamente dagli abiti ricchi di riferimenti storici e cenni contemporanei. Benché contenuta e in piena penombra, la mostra dà un “gustoso” assaggio del risultato del bellissimo lavoro della costumista Italiana Canonero, vincitrice del Premio Oscar.
L’esposizione è aperta fino al 27 Maggio 2018.

I COSTUMI DI UNA REGINA DA OSCAR
After the great wait for the arrival of the costumes of the film Marie Antoinette at the Prato Textile Museum, on the opening day we promptly presented at the ticket office to browse the elaborate stage costumes made by Milena Canonero for the film signed by Sofia Coppola.
The modern reinterpretation of the American film director, is perfectly expressed by the clothes full of historical references and contemporary hints. Although contained and in full darkness, the exhibition gives a “tasty” taste of the result of the beautiful work of the Italian costume designer Canonero, winner of the Oscar Award.
The exhibition is open until May 27th, 2018.
